This 2013 BMW M3 was built for the 2013 SEMA show and is a very rare Dakar Yellow exterior with an even rarer Liberty Walk widebody kit.
The kit has a a race inspired look with a purposeful less than “finished” look. Little elements like the exposed rivets in the body work and large front air damn all work together to create a car that looks at home on the track and extremely aggressive on the streets making the Liberty Walk Performance my favorite E92 kit.
The color is right for this car to – a individually ordered Dakar Yellow first found on the E36 M3. The creamy yellow is a favorite color on BMW sports cars and I’ve seen them specially ordered on E46 M3s as well.
Although the color and kit are both awesome, the rest of the build is a slight let down. A set of Forgiatos wheels have been used which are an okay design but doesn’t fit the theme of the build. Also the interior looks to be completely stock, with such a crazy exterior a set of aftermarket seats would be needed at a minimum complete the car.
With less than 7k miles on this car – its still pretty much brand new. It does have the DCT transmission which is kind of a bummer but it looks like a good base to an awesome show car. The seller is looking to get $70k for it and the car is currently located in Arizona.
