I’m loving this 2001 BMW E46 M3 because it has extremely low miles, is completely stock and the condition is awesome.
The E46 was the third generation of the M3 series and was available with two stand out exterior colors with one of them this bright smurf blue example called Laguna Seca Blue. This one has the standard 18″ wheels which I’m starting to like more than the upgraded factory 19″ that came on a lot of E46s. The 18″s look a little more sporty with its smaller diameter and darker finished front face.
This M3 has been lightly driven and currently has less than 10k miles on the odometer, with such low miles the condition is near mint. Even the engine bay is immaculately clean and still looks like new.
BMW chose a 3.2L inline-6 that made 333 hp and was up 92 hp over the outgoing model. The extra power is great but the new chassis was also larger and heavier than the E36 it replaced. The E46 M3 was offered in a traditional manual or optional SMG II that removed a clutch pedal and added paddle shifters.
The interior of this M3 is a classic Dove Gray leather interior that is in gorgeous condition. This one was ordered without the factory navigation and a standard radio fills up the space in the center console. One of my favorite features of the E46 M3 are lights on the tach letting driver know when its safe to drive the car in the higher rpm range.
As with most desirable low mileage sports cars the price is on the high side with the seller asking $37k for it. Not sure if its worth that amount but it is a very nice manual transmission M3 in a highly sought after color.
