This XKR-S GT is another step in Jaguar’s brand direction to produce more performance focused cars and only 25 of them will be built.
The front bumper is aggressive with CF canards and a low front splitter that is designed to add traction to the front wheels. The rear of the car also has a rear lower diffuser and a wing that generates 320lbs of downforce.
The brakes are made from carbon ceramic and are huge 15.7″ front rotor and 15″ rears with 6/4 pistons calipers. A lot of work was done to the suspension and the GT has a wider front track and harder bushings that are nice on the track but can be a little rough for street use.
The XKR-S GT competes against production cars GT3 and GT-R Nismo – vehicles that are street legal but are ready and built for track use. Its a but rawer than regular Jaguars with a louder exhaust system and a more lenient traction control system.
This one is used with less than 300 miles on the odometer and the dealer is asking $154k for it. A lot of money, but the highest performing car for Jaguar since the early ’90s XJ220 and this marque does have a established race history with loyal fans.
