This is the first widebody Land Rover Evoque that I’ve seen and I really like the aggressive look on the mini SUV.
The Land Rover Evoque is fairly new to the market but has already garnered accolades like Motor trends 2012 SUV of the year and it was also named North American Truck of the Year at the Detroit Auto Show.
The smallest vehicle in the Land Rover line-up the Evoque has a turbocharged 2 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes a healthy 240hp and 250 lb-ft of torque with 0-60 times less than 7 seconds – not impressive numbers but respectable for sure.
What the Evoque does have going for it is an awesome exterior design with a final production look that looks like a concept car. The roof line is my favorite part with a slope towards the rear giving it an almost chopped look. The fenders are also very wide for a production car that allows the Evoque to fit wide 19″ wheels under the arches.
This 2013 Evoque has been outfitted with a full Hamann widebody that extends the fenders even further giving it a menacing look from any profile. The Hamann kit swaps out the front and rear bumper for more stylish pieces and the kit still allows the parking monitoring system to function like OEM. A set of 22″ Lexani Black Label R5 wheels were chosen to balance out the more outrageous exterior and look really good on this car.
The entire truck was painted Vesuvius Orange which was a limited color available on the 2006 Range Rover Sport. The bright orange shines in the sun but has an interesting burnt copper color out of direct light. The paint job looks like a high quality job with all of the jambs painted with a few areas like the side mirrors and lower grille painted gloss black for a nice effect.
